Kathy Corrigan’s is a great facility. My son has been attending the daycare going on four years and loves it! His favorites are gym time and when it is warm enough for pool time. Now, old enough to attend, is my daughter. I would recommend going here to anybody. There is a great staff all around from Kathy herself to the teachers and also the aides. I would not feel safer leaving my children at any other daycare. I appreciate all they do for my children to have a safe and joyful day while I am not around.

When our oldest daughter needed a daycare in 2006, we searched for one that would openly and honestly answer our questions and make us feel completely comfortable leaving our precious cargo with them all day. We found that at Kathy Corrigans. We then sent our son, and we now have our third child attending daycare and could not be more pleased with the staff and accommodations. They attend summer camp as well and love everything about it.

I had attended Kathy Corrigan’s for gymnastics as a child and had a wonderful experience there so when it came time for me to look for daycare for my oldest daughter it was the first (and only) place I considered.
The infant room in the daycare has a very low infant-to-teacher ratio so I always knew they were keeping a watchful eye on Lily. Every day when I picked her up they had filled out paperwork letting me know how many wet/dirty diapers she had, what she had eaten, when she napped, and anything else that went on that day.
As she got older and progressed into the toddler and preschool rooms that same standard of care was carried out. For every stage of her development the teachers were always exceptional and encouraged learning and socializing with other children. I was always amazed by the new things she had learned every day and all the stories she had about playing with her classmates and all the activities they had done during the day.
One of the main reasons i loved bringing my daughter to Kathy Corrigan’s was the variety of activities she was exposed to. They completed art projects, sang songs, had free play time with other children, learned shapes, colors, letters, and numbers. For physical activities they had an outdoor playground and pool as well as use of the large gym downstairs.
When my daughter graduated preschool and entered kindergarten it came time for her to have her first “friend birthday party”. She, of course, chose to have her birthday at Kathy Corrigan’s. The wonderful staff took care of everything including set up, treats, and organizing games and activities for the kids. All I had to do was send invites, bring the drinks, and show up! For me it was a birthday host’s dream, “No stress and no mess”. Everyone had an amazing time and Lily said all her friends told her at school how much fun it was.
Through our involvement at Kathy Corrigan’s my daughter has developed a love for gymnastics. In the years since we first joined the Corrigan’s community my family has moved 1/2 hour further south. There are other gymnastics schools that would probably be closer to us logistically but we still take the trip up to Rockland every week because I know the program is worth the drive.

I don’t know where to begin when it comes to Kathy Corrigan’s Preschool experience! Sue Bryant excels with a challenging, yet perfectly age appropriate curriculum. Mrs. Bryant, Mrs. Clifford and Mrs. Tabor make a great team that not only are work companions but friends making their preschool one of a kind! We have had 4 out of 5 of our children go through the program and are looking forward to another great year! Thanks Kathy Corrigan’s!

Lexi has attended the half day program at Kathy Corrigan’s for two years. The first year she went for two days a week, this year three days a week. It has been a very positive experience for all of us. The program addresses the needs of the whole child, socialization, academics, and physical activity. The teachers have a great deal of experience in the early childhood field. They meet the needs of the individual child in a very kind, professional manner. They are very enthusiastic in presenting the activities for the day.
At the beginning of each month a calendar is sent home with all the lessons and activities that are planned for that month. It gives parents, grandparents or care givers an opportunity to discuss with the child what will be happening on a given day. These activities are planned around holidays, seasons, presidents and many more. The children also enjoy playing outside and doing gymnastics in the large gym.
We guess the best endorsement of the program comes from Lexi herself. She bounces out the door each day to get to school to be with her friends, her teachers, and to participate in the activities of the day. Thank you,
Ellen and Pat
